On only his 5th start, the 5-y-o was always near the pace over the 3 miles, hurdling smoothly over the 12 flights. Lying 6th into the straight, James Bowen shrewdly pulled him wide of the packed field for his effort, racing clear for a comfortable win for owner Ross Williams.
The 7-year-old chaser repeated his June win at the northern course for his new owners, the Bucks Racing Club, in the 2 miler. He took up the running with a circuit left, and stretched out his rivals before seeing off late challengers under a typically strong ride from Jamie Moore.
The 7 year old staying chaser was given a patient ride by Sean Bowen off the pace in the long distance chase of 3m 3fs, but stayed on strongly in the home straight to win going away by 7 lengths for Scottish Grand National winning owner Frank Lloyd.
