Back to form Francky Du Berlais wins over hurdles
The 7 year old defied top weight to put in a dominant performance at Newton Abbot under a confident Sean Bowen. Always travelling, he strode easily clear over the final two hurdles in the colours of Roddy Owen and the late Paul Fullagar for his first win in two years.
Wells De Lune retires
The multi-winning hurdler/chaser has been retired by his owners, The Smith Swinburne Partnership. He won a remarkable 11 races from 39 runs, including a famous 4-timer at his favourite Cartmel track in the summer of 2018. Farewell to a stable favourite!
