The 5 year old, in the same ownership as recent five-timer Fairlawn Flyer, was ridden by one-time champion amateur, Mr James King, who rode Dineur to win the Aintree Foxhunters for the late Gwilym Morris. Back from 14 months off the track, the gelding was given a front running ride to win for owner Ross Williams going away in the final furlong.
Peter and his wife Karen have transformed what began as a modest bungalow and a couple of fields into a top class racing yard.
In the last 10 seasons, horses trained by Peter Bowen have won almost 500 races and more than £4.5 million in prize money.
