The 10-year-old chaser made all under a brilliantly paced ride from Sean Bowen to earn a tilt at the Summer Plate itself. He enjoyed a brilliant round, jumping from fence to fence, and held off a late challenge strongly to win the class 3 race going away – another winner for our in-form owners, Jayne Brace and her father Gwyn – and the first of another double on the card for our yard.
Peter and his wife Karen have transformed what began as a modest bungalow and a couple of fields into a top class racing yard.
