The 6 year old, a previous bumper and hurdles winner, eclipsed his run of three second places, to give James Bowen his 50th winner this season. Ridden patiently from the rear, he took the lead at the third last showing his stamina comfortably for owners Miss Jayne Brace and Gwyn Brace.
